Does the Laptop Battery need Activate Before We Use It?

The answer is YES. But generally before we send the laptop battery to our customer, we will activate it.

The main process has several steps as follows

Lithium-ion laptop battery shell instill electrolyte – SEALED- CHEMICAL, it also called constant voltage charging, then discharged. This step should cycle several times to make sure fully immerse the electrode. Run the electrolyte, fully activated, with a capacity to meet the requirements so far, this is the activation process – points. Here a question, before customer get the battery, it will be a long time since it finish produce. This period maybe is 1 month, or maybe half a year. In this time, the battery electrode material will be passivation. So here we suggest to our customer, for the first use the batter, it’s better to use 3 to 5 times with fully charge and discharge, then it can eliminate electrode materials passivation, to reach maximum capacity.
