What is USB fast charging techniques?

Nowadays smart phone and tablet PCs all equipped with professional charger. The charger passed the test of the mobile phone or tablet PCs, also it allow the max current to charge the devices. There are four pull-down resistors, The resistors D+ and D- will detect the devices and determine the suitable current to charge. For example, if you use a Samsung charger which is 5V 1A to charge an iPhone5, the detectors D+ and D- which on the charger cannot match with the iPhone5’s,then the max charging current can only allow 500-600mA,then the charging time will be longer. But if you use the original iPhone charger, then the max current allow 960mA.That’s why we need use a smart IC chipset when we use the universal chargers.
